Due to the worldwide pandemic that is COVID-19, most of the shows scheduled for 2020 were either cancelled, or delayed. 2021 has not been much different, although with half of the year is now behind us, vaccination is making a big difference to the effects of the global pandemic and some shows and events are now available to those of us starved of the enjoyment of old machinery en masse.

Classic Van and Pick-up Show, Gaydon 14/15 August: This year’s Van and Pick-up Show at Gaydon is rescheduled for August 14/15. As with last year, it has been amalgamated with the Classic & Vintage Gathering. Last year we felt that it was not safe enough to poke our heads above the parapet, so there was no club stand. Are we far enough into a COVID-vaccinated future to allow us to feel more confident? We think so. Email to give us your opinion. Stand space has been made available, please let us know if you’d like to bring along a vehicle.

Classic Motor Show, NEC 12/13/14 November: unfortunately the organisers have informed us that we have not been allocated stand space at this year’s show, but we have been put on a cancellation list should anything crop up.

The organisers have announced that the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show will not run on 11-13 June 2021 as planned. The next edition of the show will now take place 18-20 March 2022.
