This Austin 101 has been owned by the Cooke family for over 60 years! It made a fine pair with another van, Morris J/B UMO 938 (see gallery under ‘Morris’ badge), which has since been sold. Ken Cooke bought XRH 885 on August 7th, 1964, paying £40 on hire purchase! The van is now owned by his daughter.

XRH has made many TV appearances in Heartbeat, in a variety of guises.
